I just received my Field Guide to the Common Cumberbatch T Shirt today. It is of the highest quality, the shirt is of a very good material and your marvelous drawings are transferred to the shirt in an excellent manner! I could not be more pleased with the beauty and quality of the art, the shirt and the whole look. You have outdone yourself and I give my highest recommendation to you! Bonita
Aww, thank you for the glowing review! I’m so glad you love the shirt!
I love your pun-based Sherlock posts (thinking of and still grinning at Veglock, Sherlshocks, and the Diogenes club menu, to name a few). Do you think you'll add them to your redbubble store as posters or cards? *eyebrows raised in an appropriately hopeful expression*
Thank you for the nice words! I probably will add some of the graphics you mention to my Redbubble store, but that means making high-res versions of them, and this takes a bit of time. I am therefore unlikely to add any more Sherlock posters or cards before Christmas, but they will definitely be on my to-do list for 2014. Hope that’s okay!
hello! i love the designs you have in your redbubble shop and thought many of them would make fabulous tote bags. is that an option you might consider? one can admire your artwork while using a tote bag whereas with a t-shirt, others will do the admiring (unless of course one keeps on looking at one's reflection in shop windows . . .)
Hello anonymous person, and thank you for the compliment! If people want to buy tote bags, I could potentially make some available, although Redbubble don’t print them so I’d have to sell them via a different site.
Does anyone reading this have any experience with selling or buying custom tote bags? If so, which site did you use and do you have any tips? Cheers!
I couldn’t write a review of Thor: The Dark World, because I was pre-disposed to love it. Even if it was terrible it would take me weeks or months before I could come down enough to accept it. I understand the limits of my objectivity.
But I’m almost certain the movie was not terrible. As it stands, on my current sugar high, it’s my all-time favourite superhero movie. I think it’ll settle into its proper place in my personal top five.
So, no review from me, but I do have some thoughts I wanted to write down. Spoilers follow…
Oh look, Andrew has written some amusing comments about Thor: The Dark World, so that I don’t have to!
Hi. I adore your art and am about to buy some Christmas prezzies from your shop. But I know I'm early and I wondered if you plan to add anything else (Christmas cards, for example, would be wonderful!) before Christmas, in which case I'll hold off before deciding on what to get. Thanks!
Hello, and thank you for the compliment! Yes, I am planning to add some fandom-themed Christmas cards to my Redbubble shop and am working on them right now! I’m not quite sure when they’ll be ready, but hopefully in the next week or so – I hope that’ll give people enough to time to sort their seasonal shopping out!
By the way, if there’s a particular mini-character that you (or anyone reading this!) would like to be able to buy on a card, sticker or shirt (perhaps as a gift for somebody?), feel free to let me know about it. I can’t promise anything, since Christmas is approaching rather fast and I’ve only got a limited amount of time, but I will try to make people happy if I can…
Your designs are always incredibly inventive. I wish I had your imagination. I will be getting some xmas presents for sure. Can you please also do some designs 100% focused on Ichabod. Also the inspired Otter idea of yours became a global phenomena. Is there anything about Tom Mison that could equally inspire you. He's a bit of a character so I;d have thought there's lots to spin.
A mildly spoilery observation regarding Thor 2 and the Avengers
Well, it’s not so much an observation on Thor: The Dark World as a bit of wild speculation about what might be happening elsewhere in the Avengersverse at the same time. But I’ll spoiler-cut it for your convenience anyway.
