The existence of Showerbatch footage may have done a little to compensate for the lack of half-naked men in Star Trek Into Darkness, but the NEXT Trek movie definitely needs to take a more egalitarian approach to lechery. Hello, anonymous person. In answer to your questions:

1) No, I’m afraid I don’t know where you can listen to Neverwhere. I don’t have a download myself – I listened to it on BBC iPlayer when it was first broadcast in March (and because BBC Radio IS available on iPlayer worldwide, you would theoretically have been able to listen from the US) but it was only on iPlayer for a week or so. It also isn’t officially on sale yet, but I’m guessing it may be released in the future.

2) As for making Star Trek Into Darkness icons, I can never decide whether people WANT icons these days, now that Tumblr has replaced Livejournal-style blogging for a lot of folks. However, if anyone’s reading this who really DOES want STID icons, let me know and I’ll give it serious consideration! Also, I already drew the main Enterprise crew when the first movie was out, so I suppose it should be relatively straightforward to produce an updated batch…

Goodness me, another US media mention of my otters, this time as part of this interview (from 5:55 mins onwards)!

I can happily forgive the fact that he criticized the top otter’s hand position again because he also said the following lovely thing:

So Benedict Cumberbatch was on the Letterman show, and my Otters Who Look Like Benedict Cumberbatch made an extended cameo appearance. Otter action begins at around the 2.50 mark.

Letterman is really not the greatest of interviewers, to put it mildly, but Ben looks deliciously good and seems to take everything in his stride. He also makes his (now standard) comment about the first two pictures not quite matching up: my quibble with his quibble is on record over here. One day, I hope he’ll let me buy him a drink and we can chat about accurate otter anatomy…

OMG, I’ve discovered some EXCLUSIVE LEAKED FOOTAGE from season 3 of Sherlock! I know that some of you are technically avoiding spoilers, but I thought that this was IMPORTANT FANDOM NEWS and you’d want to know about it IMMEDIATELY. Just don’t let Moffat and Gatiss hear about it. They might get annoyed that we know their secret plan.

I’m very much looking forward to this series, which seems deliberately designed to fill the televisual gap left by Merlin, apparently by stuffing it full of men in linen shirts and leather. Seems a pretty promising start to me.

Hello! You certainly may ask the question, but I’m afraid the answer is rather dull. There’s no magical website that makes them for me: I just draw them! I use Photoshop Elements and a Wacom tablet, but that’s it.

Getting the likenesses right (and I hope I manage to do this, at least some of the time) is mostly a matter of practice. I always spend a lot of time looking at reference pictures of the actors, trying to figure out what their most recognizable features are and how to cartoonify them. Obviously, in the case of Benedict Cumberbatch, a LOT of staring time is necessary, but I’m willing to put the work in for you, viewers. Only for you…
