When I first saw Eros, a 1896 painting by Armand Point. I was thinking of turning him into a Mighty Moment In Slash History. However, given the precarious positioning of the god of love’s quiver, I decided that he looked like an artistic ancestor of the Hawkeye Initiative and that I ought to draw a similarly clad (or unclad) Hawkeye as an accompaniment.

Sorry, Clint…

There aren’t many things in the world that Sherlock feels possessive about, but here are a few of them.

This new Sherlock t-shirt and card design has just been added to my Redbubble store! Longstanding viewers may recall it’s based on an icon I made years ago but was always rather fond of.

Apparently April 8th is Draw A Bird Day, so here’s a silly fandom-themed contribution: the Musketweets!

Series 2 of The Musketeers begins filming this week, so it seems like a suitable occasion to give you a complete run-down of all the Musketeers-themed designs that are now available at my Redbubble shop:

The whole Musketeers cast: shirt, print, poster or card

The four Musketeers: shirt, phone case or card (as modelled by the delightful Luke Pasqualino himself!)

Constance, “Why should men have all the fun?”: shirt or card

Milady, “You’re already in hell”: shirt or card

Queen Anne, “I am the Queen”: shirt or card

King Louis, “Being King can be so boring”: shirt or card

Stickers: The four Musketeers, Porthos, D’Artagnan, Athos, Aramis, Captain Treville, Constance, Milady, Queen Anne, King Louis and Cardinal Richelieu.

(And by the way, if there’s a design that I haven’t yet provided but which you’d particularly like to buy, I am open to suggestions…)

Up till now, Captain Treville has been missing from my mini-Musketeers series. But now I’ve found a moment to correct this unfortunate omission, here he is…

Rehearsals for season 2 of The Musketeers started today, and the lovely Jessica Pope tweeted this picture of Luke Pasqualino holding one of my mini-Musketeers cards. Rest assured, viewers, I am flapping and flailing around my flat as we speak.
(By the way, a range of mini-Musketeer products can be bought from my Redbubble store!)

Since there’s only one episode of The Musketeers left this season, I thought I’d celebrate by scribbling a few of the Muskeladies this week. So here’s mini-Constance to start the ball rolling…

After I drew the mini-Musketeers recently, stuff-and-shenanigans asked to see a mini Cardinal Richelieu. So here he is in all his conniving, conspiratorial Capaldian cuteness.

You may have seen a recent announcement that there are plans to build a Sherlock Holmes theme park in Portsmouth. In the interests of giving this admirable venture the best possible chance of success, I’ve come up with some frankly ridiculous attractions that few Sherlockians will be able to resist…

Following a reader request, I’ve added a new Moriarty shirt to my Redbubble shop! You can get the same design on a card, too.

By the way, if you’d like to suggest a particular shirt design that would make your life (or your chest) a happier place, you’re welcome to do so here. I have a rather long To-Do list, so I can’t promise I’ll get around to it soon, if at all, but I’ll definitely give it future consideration…

I’m currently rather enjoying the BBC’s swashbuckling Sunday night series The Musketeers, so I decided to draw some mini-Musketeers in all their leather-clad glory.

If you pop into my Redbubble store, you can buy them on a t-shirt, card or sticker, or play favourites by purchasing an individual sticker of Porthos, D’Artagnan, Athos or Aramis. All for one and every man for himself…
